Just curious... what's the estimate by percentage of people who show up in a costume?  Obviously, you only post pictures of folks in a costume, but I'm wondering as a percentage of all attendees how many dress up?  5%?  10%?

A significant number, actually, probably at LEAST 15-20%.
In varying degrees of quality of course.

I'd say around 15-20% is a good estimate, it's hard to tell, some people don't wear their costume some days (I didn't on Friday because it's a pain to wear while you're trying to shop and take pictures) And then theres just some people who like to wear cat ears and a tail...or rave outfits.

They also do a masquerade every year, which is a big draw for people http://www.otakon.com/events_masquerade.asp

When someone pulled the fire alarm on Saturday, you really were able to get a feel for how many were in costume since everyone was forced to evacuate.

Wouldn't doubt it!! hahahaha j/k Smiley

I went as Sailor Moon from 2003-2006 lol

On a side note, the guy who did the voice acting for Arthas and Garrosh Hellscream was there. Pretty cool dude Smiley

Austin Powers is in the Teen Titans?

(nerdrage) That is NOT Venom. Venom has a fanged maw and is generally far superior to Emospiderman...unless you let TOPHER FUCKING GRACE play him. Topher Grace needs to get the fuck out of action movies. (/nerdrage)
